Draft Plan Components, Opportunity Sites, and Mobility Strategies
IMAGE

On March 29, 2023, the City held the 4th community workshop for the downtown specific plan. We provided an update on the project schedule, recapped feedback received from the community thus far, and gave an overview of anticipated land uses, development standards, and design guidelines. Draft mobility strategies for addressing vehicular, bicycle, and pedestrian circulation were also provided. Renderings of identified opportunity sites showed a potential future vision of San Dimas Station north (Red Robin, Boot Barn, Zendejas, etc) and south (Motel 6, 99 Cent Store, Cost Plus World Market, Denny's, Applebee's, etc), which reimagined the shopping centers with mixed use redevelopment including retail and restaurant uses, multi-family housing, a hotel, and a community building.

We are seeking your feedback as we finalize preparation of the draft specific plan document to share with the community, Planning Commission, and City Council! Please view the presentation under the "Topic Details" tab above. Please provide any comments, suggestions, or ideas. Thank you for your participation.
