The draft vision statement below is provided to reflect a community-generated vision for what the downtown specific plan area could look like in the next 10-15 years.

DRAFT VISION STATEMENT:
"Downtown is the heart of the City of San Dimas- a walkable and vibrant activity center which celebrates and preserves its historic, charming character and provides a diversity of retail, restaurant, cultural, and civic uses, a variety of housing types, and local employment opportunities which breathe life and activity into the town core."

The draft vision statement and draft goals are based on input provided by the community thus far, both through the MindMixer site, through the 1st Community Workshop in February 2022, and through any feedback provided directly to the project team. The draft vision statement and goals were first presented to the community at the 2nd Community Workshop that was held on May 11, 2022. The draft vision statement and goals will be refined further based on feedback received from the community at the 2nd Community Workshop which was held on May 11, 2022, feedback taken in through MindMixer, and feedback provided directly to the project team.

A comment sheet on the Draft Vision and Goals for the plan area was distributed at the 2nd Community Meeting on May 11, 2022 and is available as a PDF on the city's website as well as on MindMixer. You may comment on the draft vision and goals through the MindMixer platform here, OR feel free to submit the comment sheet directly to city staff by emailing to anguyen@sandimasca.gov, mailing your survey to Anne Nguyen, Planning Division, 245 E. Bonita Avenue, San Dimas, CA 91773, or dropping off at the Planning counter at City Hall.
